Wednesday May 30 saw Beachside Intermediate students compete in the winter sports round robin. Sports included Football, Netball, Badminton and Soccer. Of those sports 2 schools, namely Cheltenham and Mentone claimed all but 1 title, boys Football which went to Mordialloc. Mentone won almost every female title- netball A&B and girls soccer. Cheltenham on the otherhand took out all other male events- boys soccer and boys badminton as well as saluting in the girls badminton. The day was a big success, especially considering that some of the sports seemed likely to be cancelled due to ground concerns in early term 2. Congratulations to all who took part and we wish all successful teams all the best in the Southern Zone finals.
